extraprima 92-93 | Der Lacoste-Borie ist als preiswerter Pauillac immer ein empfehlenswerter Kauf. Seit 1982 wird dieser Zweitwein auf Grand Puy Lacoste erzeugt. 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot und 8% Cabernet Franc wurden mit 44 hl je Hektar geerntet, erreichten 13,9% Alkohol und reifen in 50% neuen Fässern. Dunkle Farbe. In der Nase besitzt der Lacoste Borie eine dunkelbeerige Frucht mit viel Saft und Fülle, ganz klar und tief gestaffelt. Druckvoll, frisch und saftig beginnt er im Mund, zeigt einen beherzten Körper mit ausgewogenen, festen Gerbstoffen und sehr guter Länge. Xavier Borie ist überzeugt den bislang besten Lacoste Borie erzeugt zu haben. Glückwunsch!

Parker (88-90) | Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2018 Lacoste-Borie opens with baked plums, stewed cherries, cassis and milk chocolate with earth and herbs. Medium to full-bodied, firm and chewy, it has a good fruit core and an herbal lift on the finish.

Galloni (89-92) | The 2018 Lacoste-Borie is plump, silky and absolutely delicious. Bright red cherry, plum and mocha add lovely shades of nuance throughout. I would prefer to drink this succulent, mid-weight Pauillac over the next handful of years, while it retains its youthful juiciness. The blend is 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot and 8% Cabernet Franc. Tasted two times.
