extraprima 95 | Der 2020er Batailley besteht aus 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot und je 2% Cabernet Franc und Petit Verdot bei etwa 14% Alkohol mit 58% neuen Barriques. Er besitzt ein tolle, dichte Farbe, sehr viskos und natürlich. Sehr dunkelbeerig und fleischig im Geruch, wirkt das Duftbild sehr distinguiert und verdichtet, ein wahrhaft massiver Auftritt mit viel nobler Bleistiftspitze. So bietet der 2020er eine magische Batailley-Nase mit enormer Tiefe und großer Konzentration, ganz vielschichtig und weitläufig. Im Mund zeigt er eine sehr geschliffene Gerbstoffstruktur, ist in sich verdichtet, mit ganz feinkörniger Gerbstofftextur und grandioser Frische, linear, lang und sehr klar. Saftig, süßlich, sehr geradlinig und mitreißend, erzeugt der Batailley eine unglaubliche Würze und Rasse, mit immer wiederkehrender, kräuteriger Süße am Gaumen. The palate is medium-bodied with firm, grippy tannins and a fine bead of acidity. Classic in style, this is lightly spiced, showing impressive depth toward the finish.
