Für mich ist der Sauvignon 500 der beste Sauvignon aus ganz Deutschland, denn die Tiefe, Struktur und atemberaubende Aromenfülle besitzt kein anderer Wein dieser Rebsorte. Und auch im Ausland ist ebenbürtiges sehr schwer zu finden. Selbst an der Loire in Frankreich fallen mir nich allzu viele Weine auf diesem Niveau ein. Vielleicht der Pavillon Blanc von Château Margaux!?!

Parker 94 | The intensely yellow-colored 2022 Sauvignon Blanc 500 is deep, intense and concentrated on the nose that intermingles tropical fruit aromas with oaky and refreshing phenolic notes. Clear, fresh and elegant on the palate, with concentrated citrus fruit and a tight structure with fine yet slightly drying tannins, this full-bodied, mineral and persistently salty Sauvignon is the most convincing I have had since Stephan Attman took over the direction of the domaine in 2008 and developed this wine that is vinified in tonneaux. 13% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in July 2024.
Vinous 93 | The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc 500 is from vines planted in 2008 on the coolest parcels from Paradiesgarten. This was made in tonneaux. A lovely hint of peach and a vivid portion of oaky smokiness captivate the senses. The palate is fresh, compact, bright and brimming with juicy peach notes. Its lovely, fruity concentration plays with oakiness in a continuous pas des deux. The finish is enduring. Give this time. (Bone-dry)
