Parker 92 | Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2016 Cadet-Bon rocks up with gregarious black and red cherry preserves, baked plums and mulberries scents with touches of chocolate box, unsmoked cigars and wild sage. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has a firm, fine-grained texture and tons of freshness lifting the vivacious fruit to a good, long finish.

Galloni 92 | The 2016 Cadet-Bon is even more compelling than it was from barrel. Creamy and inviting on the palate, with tons of nuance, the 2016 offers notable richness and pliancy in a mid-weight style that holds tremendous near to medium-term appeal. It's hard not to love this forward, succulent Saint-Émilion.

Suckling 92 | A dense and layered, young St.-Emilion with deep, ripe-berry, chocolate and hazelnut character that follows through to a full body, juicy tannins and bright acidity that lifts and excites the palate. Wonderful finish. A blend of merlot and cabernet franc. Try from 2022.
