extraprima 93-95 | Die 77 Hektar Rebfläche von Prieuré-Lichine liegen über die gesamte Appellation Margaux verstreut. Die Assemblage besteht aus 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot und 5% Petit Verdot mit 13,5% Alkohol. 2025 war für Prieuré Lichine ein sehr erfolgreiches Jahr: Schwarze, frische Farbe. Dicht süß und karamellig-schokoladig im Kernaroma, mit dunklen Beeren und liköriger Süße, nicht ganz so tief, dafür aber frisch, offen und einladend saftig im Geruch. Fleischig-körperreicher Auftakt im Mund, mit viel Stoff und guter Balance. Hier wurde herzhaft extrahiert, mit satten, reifen Gerbstoffen. Dunkelbeeriger, liköriger Nachhall. Ein sehr extraktreicher Margaux mit guter Harmonie. 

große Intensität mit purer dunkler Frucht

Parker 91-93 | The 2025 Prieuré-Lichine reveals a vibrant bouquet of dark wild berries, mulberries, cassis and floral notes. Medium- to full-bodied, fleshy and dense, it’s structured and concentrated, built around a solid tannic chassis that carries through to a long, elegantly spicy finish. Less immediately charming and enveloping than usual, it instead emphasizes depth and power.

hochklassiger Margaux voll mit Charakter

Galloni 92-94 | The 2025 Prieuré-Lichine is terrific. I won't be surprised if it turns out even better than this note suggests. Floral overtones weave through a core of dark red/purplish fruit, all framed by silky tannins. This is classic Prieuré-Lichine, with perhaps a bit more fruit density than most years. A pretty appealing combination in my book.

Suckling 95-96 | Well composed, textural and velvety, with currants, herbs and baking spices on the nose. Medium-bodied with fine tannins. Refined texture with substance and harmony. Focused, lingering finish. 60% cabernet sauvignon, 35% merlot and 5% petit verdot.
